Introductory Pottery Wheel Taster Class

Your first time at the wheel

Welcome to our Studio 221 Pottery Wheel Fun-damentals Class. In this 1.5-hour session you dive into crafting bowls and cylinders on the potter's wheel, with a friendly, experienced tutor guiding you through every step.

Expect to make around two pieces. It is a blast for beginners, and a small group affair, so bring a buddy or come solo and meet new friends who share your love for clay.

What's in the package?

• Hands-on guidance from a pottery pro
• 1.5 hours of pure pottery joy and learning
• Leave with two pieces created by you

The making experience is £45. Want to keep your pieces? For £5 we fire them in our kiln, ready to collect in 2-3 weeks (we hold them for a further 30 days). Come back for a decorating session to paint and glaze them.

No prior experience needed. Perfect for a date, a fun outing with friends, or a solo creative adventure.
