Hand-Build & Decorate Ceramics Workshop

Shape it, then decorate it

A two-part workshop, no wheel needed.

• Part one: choose your project (mug, plate, figurine or bowl) and hand-build your form using slab, coil, pinch or mould techniques.
• Part two: guided decoration followed by free-form underglaze painting on your own piece. Extra pieces £5 each.

What you'll learn

• Hand-building foundations: slab rolling, coil stacking and pinch-pot skills tailored to your project
• Surface decoration: underglaze brushing, sponging, sgraffito and stamping

Materials and facilities

• All tools, workstations and aprons provided
• Full palette of underglazes, brushes and texture tools
• Kiln firing included

Suitable for beginners and for those with some clay experience. Creations are ready after about four weeks and you have 45 days to collect them. Visiting London? Ask for our air-dry clay option to take your creation home the same day (not food safe).

Private workshops for up to 30 makers are available for team events, birthdays and creative gatherings.
