Terms and cancellation

- After that, the booking cannot be cancelled online.
Terms and conditions
Bookings are with Social Pottery Painting Ltd (company number 10950533). These are the main points of our Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy. Where the booking page or your confirmation email gives a specific notice period, that is the one that applies to your booking. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
Wheel, hand-building classes and workshops
- Cancel at least 7 days before your session for a full refund.
- You can reschedule up to the notice shown on the session page, usually 48 or 72 hours before your session.
Pottery painting sessions
- A deposit or studio fee, paid when you book, reserves your seat. The piece you choose is paid for on the day.
- You can reschedule a painting booking once, as long as you give the notice shown on the session page, usually 24 or 48 hours before your session.
Courses
- The cancellation and rescheduling terms for each course are shown on its booking page.
Late cancellations and no-shows
If you cancel after the notice period for your session, or do not come, we cannot refund or reschedule the booking. The notice period is counted back from the start time of your session.
If we cancel
If we have to cancel or move a session, we will contact you as soon as we can and offer you a full refund or a new date, whichever you prefer.
Collecting your pottery
- Pieces are collected from the studio where you made them. Once your piece is ready, you have 30 days to collect it. Pieces not collected within 30 days are donated to charity.
Breakage and loss
- Pottery you painted: we will usually offer a refund, or a voucher to come back and paint another piece.
- Pieces you made in a wheel or hand-building class: we refund the firing only. You have attended the class and had the teaching, so the class itself is not refundable.
Refunds go back to the original payment method and take 3 to 5 days to process. Questions about a booking: contact the studio you booked with, or email hello@socialpottery.com.
